Uniforms in Egypt: types, fabrics and prices

What to know before you order uniforms for your team: which garment suits which job, which fabric survives daily wear, what a uniform costs per piece in 2026, and how to choose a uniform factory that keeps its delivery date.

No commitment. You see the price and your logo on the design before you decide.

What is a uniform, and why do organisations use one?

A uniform is workwear in one design, one colour and one logo, worn by everyone in a team. Customers recognise your staff at a glance, your brand looks the same in every branch, and employees stop spending their own money on work clothes.

A good uniform is also practical: the fabric has to breathe in an Egyptian summer, take daily washing without fading, and let people bend, lift and move. That is why the garment and the fabric matter as much as the logo.

Types of uniforms by sector

  • Corporate uniforms: Polo shirts, formal shirts, trousers and blazers with the company logo.
  • School uniforms: Shirts, trousers, skirts and PE kits with the school crest embroidered.
  • Healthcare uniforms: Scrubs and lab coats in department colours, in fabrics that take hot washes.
  • Hospitality uniforms: Chef jackets, aprons, housekeeping and front office wear matched to your brand book.

What sets the price of a uniform

  • The fabric and its weight: cotton-rich piqué, blended piqué, stretch poplin or heavy twill.
  • The garment and its details: short or long sleeve, pockets, a mesh back on chef jackets.
  • How the logo is added and in how many places: embroidery or print, chest only or chest and back.

Uniform fabrics: which one suits your team

Cotton piqué for offices and front desks, blended piqué for field teams who wash daily, stretch poplin for scrubs, and heavy twill for kitchens, workshops and housekeeping. Every fabric we use has a code, a composition and a weight in grams per square metre.

Uniform questions, answered

Q01How much do uniforms cost in Egypt?

At Asasi a uniform piece starts at EGP 120, a polo shirt at EGP 260, and the most expensive pieces run to about EGP 480, before adding your logo. The final price depends on the fabric and the logo method, and comes in a written quote within 24 working hours.

Q02What is the minimum order for uniforms?

Your first order starts at 50 pieces, split across any sizes and colours. After that, existing clients can add pieces for new staff from a single piece, in the same fabric, colour and logo, because your fabric code, logo file and sizes stay on your account.

Q03How long does it take to make uniforms?

A free sample with your logo in about 7 working days, then 3 to 5 weeks of production depending on quantity, with the delivery date written into the contract.

Q04Can I see a sample before ordering?

Yes. We make a free sample with your logo, in the fabric and colour you chose, before you pay anything. It arrives in about 7 working days, so you can check the fabric, fit and logo placement yourself and ask for changes before approving production.

Q05Embroidered or printed logo?

Embroidery suits most uniforms, because it lasts through repeated washing and looks more premium on polos, shirts and jackets. Print suits multi-colour designs, T-shirts and large logos on the back. Your written quote shows both options with their prices.

Q06Where are Asasi uniforms made?

In our own factory in New Nozha, Cairo, running since 1990 with a capacity of 10,000 pieces a month. We sell directly to companies, schools, hospitals and hotels with no middleman, deliver across Egypt, and you can book a factory visit to see the fabrics and production line.

Before you commit

Try us on ten pieces before you commit to 5,000.

Every order starts with a free sample of your design, and the delivery date goes into the contract with 10% back if we miss it.

  • Free pre-production sample
  • Delivery date in the contract, 10% back if late
  • Extra pieces from 1
  • Tax invoice with every order

No commitment. You see the price and your logo on the design before you decide.
